DAY 1: Arrival at Casablanca – Fes:
Pick-up from Casablanca Airport. In Casablanca you will see the Hassan II Mosque, the largest outside of Mecca and experience the coastal “Cornish” seaside. Afterwards, we will leave to fes, the culture capital of Morocco.
DAY 2: Fes – Fes:
After breakfast in your riad , you will start exploring the oldest city in Morocco, walking in its alleys and small streets. Our visit starts by visiting the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarter,the first Mellah ever built in Morocco, built during the 16th century. We will ensure that you visit all sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University, the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine museum and Mulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you will visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramique view over the whole Medina of Fes..too, we will visit the new city “La ville nouvelle”.
DAY 3: Fes – Azrou – Ziz Valley:
We will leave Fes travelling towards desert of Merzouga. During this journey you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas. Stopping at Azrou, a Berber village in the middle of the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco – where you may well sight Barbary apes. Then to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud. You will be travelling through the fascinating Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge, taking in views of the Atlas plateau, you’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city of Errachidia, here you will have lunch and enjoy the Berber hospitality. Afterwards, you will travel along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way to Erfoud and Rissani.
DAY 4: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Dunes – Camel Trek:
We surround Erg Chebbi, expanse of sand desert where the great Dune of Morocco, connecting track with part of the route followed by the former Paris-Dakar…. Stop at the oasis of Tissardmin and continue until a nomadic settlement where we will know his life and customs. Stop in Khamlia, original people of Mali, where to relax with a tea while enjoying a small concert of gnawa music. Return to the hotel, and at evening departed with camels to middle of the dunes, accompanied by the beautiful sunset in the desert. We stay in a tent in the heart of the desert under the stars.
DAY 5: Merzouga – Ouzina – Ramlia – Zagora – Draa Valley:
We woke up before dawn to watch the sunrise. Return to the hotel in Dromedary…,and we will go to one of the roads used in the Rally Dakar through the berber villages like Jdayd, Ouzina, oasis of Ramlia. Continue road with our 4×4 to Zagora (Draa Valley).
DAY 6: Zagora – Agdez – Ouarzazat – Marrakech:
Departure to Ouarzazat through sublime Draa Valley with its parade of palms and via the Berber people Agdz and the Anti Atlas (altitude 1660 m). Stops to take pictures, continue up to the Berber people (tadart) where we will rest and free time for lunch, in the afternoon met Marrakech by the pass of Tizi n’¬Tichka. Arrival at Marrakech evening.
DAY 7: Marrakech:
All day visit to explore the red city “Marrakech”, the medina, Djemaa el-Fna fill with storytellers, fortune tellers, jugglers, cure Mavericks, dancers, snake charmers and more…
DAY 8: Marrakech – Airport and back home:
Breakfast, Free morning to explore the city or buy a souvenir of Morocco. At the agreed time transfer to the airport and end of our services.
